This line is from mutated CRS.

It has 2 grades:
- Red Ruby
- Wine Red
- Black Panda
- Black King Kong

For red, higher grade is those with more white.
For black, higher grade is those with more black.
Who to decide the grade? It is the breeders, according to what they can breed out. The above grades were given by the breeder of the shrimps in the pics.

As for now, according to the breeders, it is not easy to get fertile specimens, only a few breeders in the world can breed till F4 or beyond.

It is quite a stir in Japan now. Price of black tiger has dropped, the keen level is not so much now. The red has hit the already priced dropped CRS or red bee shrimps.

About US$500 for the best black piece. Red price is not so high.

When a new shrimps in the market, I think the first to ask is, are they wild caught, mutated from an existing species or hybrid.

I asked the breeder whom bred the shrimp as shown above, he told me, he started to get very small number from his pure CRS tank, and he refined them. So they are mutation from CRS.
