I understand these new shrimps are very tiny........how big are yours?
They are about 1 cm or maybe less, they are really tiny but at this size some of the Spongicola carry a few eggs.

Thanks, that's not a bad size...........large enough to admire them.

It's great they are carrying eggs already.

I keep them for only 3 weeks, actually they're at a pH of 8.2, gh 8 and kh 7. I've found that spongicola is maybe the most delicate, some of them died a few days before they arrived. The caridina cardinal seems to be more resistent and easier to keep.

It looks that the relationship whit the sponge is about the diatomea's feeding, any idea about this?

The water conditions looks like some African lakes (Tanganika and Malawi), there is some commertial salts for theese lakes, could it be usable to recreate Sulawesi Lake's enviroment?

    Hello Kidz,

I wonder what you want show us with the first link...

Anyway, when scientists speak about the relationship with Malawi & Tanganika lakes, they are not thinking in the water parameters. They mean the species radiation and evolution is similar due to the ancient age of the lakes. This stability a long the time promotes the evolution of the life.
The Malili system lakes have relatively normal water parameters, with soft water and pH slight alkaline.

    Yes, that's what I tried

That's what I've seen, that the water conditions are soft and a bit alkaline water, perhaps with "extra" air suply or a power air filter and no CO2 inyection.
