Hi all

Sharing with you the cross of CRS and Aura Blue. YES THEY CAN CROSS. These guys are definitely Caridina, and not a new species!! So beware if you're keeping them.. as the cross is not pretty at all.

Most F1 generations don't look good. Keeping them and crossing back to blues or CRS could start to give some neat results. I think it's accepted they are Cardina Serreta now, aka blue trupel shrimp.

They sort of look like crystal whites (only in a really general and generic sense).

One reason that I like the tupfel shrimp is that they don't have really clean and defined patterns and color. There is something more natural seeming and relaxed about them visually than the solid colors of high grade neos or the crisp patterns of CRS.
