No idea... they are just told to be Faunus. (I pm you a link with similar pictures)
Thank you Fento.
Yes the photos on the link show the same snail as mine. They don't specify the scientific name of this Faunus. They say they are viviparous unlike Faunus ater.
Another link says they need brackish water...
I would be more of this opinion.
We'll see...

Mine feel fine in soft freshwater.
I canīt find a scientific name as well.
The shape of the shell looks a bit different to F. ater and they are smaller.
Most probably itīs a Faunus but not F. ater.
They are offered as Cappuccino snail in Germany.

Has anybody bred this/ese snail/s? there's not many information in the internet and many information sources are contradictory. :/
Yes they are much smaller than Faunus ater (You can se the difference on the third and fourth pictures).
I have 10 Faunus ater and 5 Faunus sp in my tank so if they breed in freshwater, I should have babies sooner or later...
I bought my Faunus ater more than two years ago, so I think brackish water is needed for reproduction.

I keep Faunus ater for around a year and never saw offpring.
BTW: I also keep a new Faunus on the market called lava snail.
They were available at the same time as the Cappuccino snail. Pretty new and very nice.
