    Talking I have some questions

I am planning to set up my 40 gallons tank and putting my RCS on it. then i would buy some CRS as an additional.
    my questions are:
    - Can they thrive in the same tank?
    - Can i Put another species like a sulawesi shrimp like harlequins on it?

From what I've read and seen, RCS and CRS are common tank mates, and definitely will not interbreed, especially since RCS are neocaridinas and CRS are caridinias, so you're good on that aspect. I don't have experience in Sulawesi shrimp though :/ Sorry...

    Hi,
CRS being the more sensitive to water parameters, so I would like to concentrate more on their requirements. The best thing about rcs is that they can adapt to any condition.
Now being keeping CRS for some time can point out the certain things need to be taken care of -
    TDS(total dissolved solution) around 120-150ppm.
    PH around 6.4-6.8.
Zero Ammonia and most importantly keep them in a well cycled tank.
    And perform 10-20% water changes..
    Thanks
    Abhishek

The Harlequin (and most of the other Sulawesi shrimp) requires a higher pH and higher temperatures.

Crystal Red Shrimp (and other bee shrimp) require lower pH and lower temperatures.

Keeping Crystal Red Shrimp with Sulawesi shrimp - I don't know if it could be made to work but I definitely would not want to take the risk of trying it out.

You might get neocaridina shrimp (Red Cherry Shrimp, snowballs, blue pearls, rili, etc.) to live with Sulawesi shrimp and you can definitely keep neocaridina with Crystal Red Shrimp.

Well sulawesi I am little skeptical of keeping them as they require the uttermost attention and also their water parameters.
So as per my honest suggestion read more about the kind of sulawesi you are planning to keep.

But its better to keep sulawesi in their species only tank, coz they require high ph and low tds. You can start moving to the next level while keeping crs.
    Thanks

Crs requires lower ph and lower tempreture ryt? I dont know if i can change my water parameter as my current ph is 7.9. Im looking forward to harliquins and cardinals species.

Exactly they require lower temperature and low ph.
Its easy to do- use ro water, peat moss filtration - your ph will come down.
About harlequins heard that they are one of the toughest ones to keep- I am not discouraging you.
Please read some of the posts in the sulawesi segment brother
    Thanks
