Hi ! What da heckk is Dymax IQ5 ?
What the size of ur nano ?

That tank is only like a gallon or so in size and I think the param's would shift too much for crystals to be happy or breed well in. You also would have to cover the built in overflow slots from shrimp getting sucked in. For the price you could setup a better tank.

Noted , BTW which type of substrates are better? ADA or Mosura?

I didn't know Mosura made a soil.

Im using dymax iq5. no temp control function

I used dymax Iq3 before for 1 year and finally I decide to upgrade my tank to a 1.5ft. Internal filter will cause a 2degrees Celsius increase in my tank.. My tank is not near any direct sunlight and temperature was 28degrees Celsius. I had to turn on 2 clip on fan to keep temperature constant @ 26 given local country's humidity. Need frequent top up of water.
When I change to air pump filteration, temp is a cooling 24 degrees celsius. But, tank gets dirty fast because alot of unused space at the back.. Plus shrimplets keep going through the gaps..
Just my 2 cents worth on dymax experience..

ADA is a fantastic soil my shrimp love it as well as my plants.
Just don't buy the soil though, get the powders and power sand as well, it is more money but in my opinion if you just buy the soil and not the restits a waste of money.
I have a aquael 30l tank and its great, i threw out the internal filter and heater and am running a 2213 and jager 50w. I dont recommend any sort of internal filter, exept maybe a sponge but I dont rate this in term of actual filtration.
Get a good canister and cover the inlet with filter wool etc and you will be fine.
