Diy Surface skimmer for nano aquarium's (use it with hob's)

Just and idea sirji! :cheerup: Not yet tested i need DIY Guru's to approve this !! then will do this project . :thumb:
* Reason i don't want to ruin my HOB Filter

Things needed ( i am not a Spendthrift ) would like to make diy out of what i have

airline tubing
2 I joint (airline)
Bottle Cap ( big one )

1. make a hole in the bottle cap at the top and at the bottom of your inlet tube of your Hob filter !
2, attach i joint to the cap and the HoB
3. connect the the i joint together with the airline tubing .


this for 8 gallon planted shrimp aquarium

if not suggest me out of the following things
airpump
powerhead 800 ltr /hr
diffuser or an airstone

This is a neat idea that I am sure could be tweaked to fit your specific needs.
