These are what I call brownies (most of them). So the story behind this is...
I am going to paraphrase to be brief.
In order to get higher grade CRS and CBS, they were cross bred with goldens and snow whites. Many times the cross with a poor quality white will result in not only loss of white, but the richness of the color (either black or red) will get very washed out. In CRS it will look like paint on an old car...very oxidized and almost orange as opposed to the sharp crisp candy apply red that CRS are supposed to be. Some people like the brownies, but in my opinion, and in my tanks, they are culled.
