Are these Neocaridina Heteropoda? (Shrimp ID Help)

Hi, I recently purchased these at a local auction. They were labelled as "Unknown Neocaridina". I asked the seller, and he told me he had ordered Amano Shrimp and these showed up instead.

The best match I can find online is they are wild caught cherries, aka Neocaridina Heteropoda. Althought they might also be Neocaridina Palmata, or something else entirely, I'm no expert. Any help IDing them would be helpful.

The 2nd picture looks like amano/yamato shrimp. I think the rest of the shrimps are still unstable. Usually for amano shrimp, there are a few dots/spots on its body.

They loke like Neocaridina but I'm not sure. Do you have berried females? Do they breed in fresh water?

Hey Magpie, thanks for your feedback. I'm confident they are not amanos. I've got amanos in 3 tanks, and while the color is similar to a few of these guys, when you see them in person you can see the difference.

Schorpioen, I've only had them a few days, and none are berried or saddled. The only thing I have to go on in the guy I got them from was told they were Neocaridina when he contacted the supplier to complain about not getting the amanos he ordered.

Since you have just got these shrimps only for a few days, let them stabilized first.

You mean let them sit for a few days to see if they color up any?

Give the shrimps another few days for them to stabilize and get used to the water condition. Anyway, is the price of amano and wild cherry roughly the same?

No idea what a wild caught Cherry goes for. Probably not much. Amanos go for $2/ea in these parts. Regular cherries are $1 or less. Its not about the money, its about figuring out what kind of shrimp I have so I can put them in the correct water parameters and have the right tank mates for them.
