    Default Lowest temperature for CRS?

I usually keep my crs in low the low 70s, but so far this winter its been in the mid to upper 60s. Last night was especially cold so the temperature dropped to 64 degrees. Do crs still breed at mid 60s?

I have had my CRS down to 60 F and up to 82 F.
In my experience they do not breed at temps below 68 F and their ideal temp seems to be 72/73.

I have to agree. After keeping my shrimp in 64 F waters for 6 months with no breeding I got a heater and with in days of raising my temp to 72 F I had a berried female. My the AC in my office is way too cold

u can always set up AC manuall, dont u?

72 F is really the mid temperature and it is ideal for your type of shrimps. my CRS/CBS are like rabbits having 72-74 F and after few days of rest, females are berrying eggs again

its a central AC so we have no control of the temps in our office.
