    It's a caridina.

Mordalphus has said that they can interbreed with cantonensis.

Water parameters are similiar to that of a CRS/CBS.

Are you sure? I've been told that they cannot cross breed with CRS (Caridina cf. Cantonensis).

Could you point me to the post in which he made the claim? I did a quick forum search and couldn't find the said-post..

If it's true, then I need to remove them as they're currently in the same partition as the CRS.

Yes, better take them out. The Aura Blue shrimp is suspected to be caridina serrata (variant blue tuepfel) and can crossbreed with all caridina cantonensis.
it is not about being right or wrong. it is about learning!

Yes, remove them, because the males are especially vigorous when it comes to breeding, with so few CRS in there, they may impregnate your female CRS. I have confirmed serrata mating with cantonensis.

Also, your aura blues are very beautiful

You have confirmed cross breeds of the tiger and CRS.. A few in Singapore have already started playing with these crosses.

But this will only be true if the Aura Blue really is a Serrata.. Any confirmed cross breeds of an Aura Blue with CRS? And if so, pictures of the offsprings.. ?
