So did anyone try bamboo wood in shrimp aquariums? Since bamboo wood look great and has holes already in in, would make perfect caves for shrimp? Anyone tried it, is it safe to use that type of wood in aquariums with shrimps?

Yeah, I have quite a few natural bamboo shelters in my shrimp tanks . I bought them from ebay and they come ready covered in java moss......really nice. I believe she also posts to europe too....!
The seller prepares them to ensure they are tank / shrimp safe. Shrimp love using the hollow bamboo inside as well as grazing on the moss growing on the outside. Worth a look!
Go to ebay.co.uk and type in java moss shelter. I really like her moss covered lava rocks too!!

It's a great idea and you can go ahead with it all the way.
There's a website that even sells hollow bamboos for this purpose.
