Question Help me to choose a snail

So I am planing to do a new 80l tank. And I would like to put some snails in it. I read a lot how snails and shrimps are a good combination. So far I had Ramshorns but they suck hard. I put a few of them and in 2 months there are so many of them it looks horrible.

I would like a snail that will do it's job. That means cleaning the glass, eating leftover food, digging in the soil etc. And will not harm the shrimps or reproduce like crazy! What type of snail should I get? There is a guy in Slovenija that sell some snail but I dunno what to take from him...

    Hi,

you can get your Neritina. Do not eat plants. The eggs hatch in brackish water, so you would not have problems of overcrowding. They keep the pool clean.

I can strongly recommend NOT putting Assassins in with shrimp - they are also pretty good at catching and eating shrimp! Mine took down 3 crs before i removed. Barstewards!
