Caridina striata (Lake Towuti). The same lake caridina spinata.

I was hesitating between Caridina sp "White Orchid", Caridina ensifera and Caridina sp "Half back", but it's true that Caridina striata is quite attractive.

Anyone has experience with these species?

Hi,
The White Orchid 'caridina the most' easy to breed among those mentioned. In Italy there are several breeders that breed successfully. On the other I do not know!

OK It will also depend on what species is available...

It's hard to find other Sulawesi shrimps other than dennerli and spinata in France.

Hi Kobal....Excellent photo's and great to see someone having success with Sulawesi species...Hats off to you ..!!!

For additional species try dropping Scorpio a PM as I know he has some success with Sulawesi species ' White Orchid 'caridina and is a font of knowledge.

It's really hard to take good pictures of Caridina spinata, as they tend to hide at the slightest movement.

I will certainly keep you informed of my new acquisitions, normally within 15 days if all goes well.

I have started a new 100 liters more than four weeks ago, Tylomelania should return in it in a couple of days.
