Default Red Tigers - grading scale... is there such a thing?

I just recently acquired some Red Tigers and there happened to be a couple in my batch that are completely orange with no stripes. The supplier said those were in fact higher grade red tigers and are actually quite rare. Is there such a thing as a Red Tiger grading scale? I don't doubt my supplier but does anybody here have any experience with these tiger variants yet on SN? Please share your thoughts.

I will post a picture soon.

LOL - I am sorry I have never heard of a Red Tiger grading scale... Fact is, that Red Tiger come from two different strains: one is wild-caught, and the other is the result of crossing CR with Red Tiger (=Tigerbee). I prefer those from the wild, and among this group the specimens with transparent body. Some look more bluish in the body inside.

Crossed can be transparent too. I have the non- golden eye too.

This is one of my GE Red Tigers that I had bred.

Here is the one I'm referring to. You can see it's clearly orange and has faint stripes that are also see through instead of solid red. Weather this is a morph or result of a crossing, I have no idea.

Awesome. I think it's selective bred from tigers...it's known that some strains might be yellow (and yellower with selective breeding). Appart from that the stripes pattern, seem to be the same as tigers, well despite they're red and almost vanished.

Nope. This is a "Golden Tiger", morph from Red Tigers.

Here's another photo I took the other day.

Possibility 1: Your red tigers come from a line crossed with CR shrimp. We have two linages in my country - one from the wild and one from the mentioned crossing.

Possibility 2: You have shown your Red Tigers on a photo with CR togehter. The two caridina might have crossed in your tanks, F1 offspring is the golden shrimp shown above...

    What do you think?
