Thanks, I found the problem, I have 1 week shrimplets now usually they didn't last 3 days.
The problem was to little or non microlife, spirulina powder and green water with lotīs of microlife (after 2 weeks in the sun) and problem solve. No issues with pvc or plants. Thanks!

I would agree with that . The first time i see my babie's they are on the side of my tank grazing on the light algea growth . Till then they stay under the moss or in the java moss which is full of infusoria .

Hi, do you mean you age the tank water with the spurlina powder in the sun for 2 weeks then add it to the tank? Hmm very interesting.

Also what I've done was use a mini breeding tank attached to the inside of my tank with an airstone. Added tons of moss and allow to age for 2 weeks till covered in algae. Then I use it as a nursery. This way I can also keep track of the survival rate.

Hi Crystal...your post 101 and 202 are great!!! thanks for sharing that!
I have lots of shrimplets now and more to come.

I have done 2 thinks basically, donno wish is better, but I will keep doing it.

1- Water from my aquariums (discus) in 2 litter buckets or similar, 1 or 2 weeks in the sun, green water and microlife (the water is from the water change). Then into the CRS aquarium. Works great!.
2- Once a week, water change 20% 50% (CRS Aquarium 120 lt), my tap water is great for CRS and Discus (KH 2-3 GH 5-6, PH 6.5), prefilter of activate carbon and drops of seachem prime. Then in a small bucket I put: 1 pinch of spirulina, 1 pinch of mineral, 1 pinch of baby food shirakura and 1 pinch of hematococus pluvialis (astaxantine). Mixed with a little water and into the tank.

That is what improve my CRS survival rate to almost 100%.
