I'm sure it does. Every RO system is good for shrimp if you get RO water. You must put attention it's good for you. That's mean is it easy to set up and easy to use?
If you have prefilters in this system is better for membrane longlife. If you have 2gal storage reservoir it's comfortable get volume quickly.

I agree with rocky...RO water is great but make sure the unit meets your needs. i did not buy a unit with a storage tank...I made one from a 28 g rubber maid and a float valve. You DEFINITELY want a storage tank of some kind.

How did you add a float valve?

I have RO System 6 imported from US by my local seller. It's built with 3 prefilters: 5 micron, activ carbon, 1 micron, has 100gpd membrane, 2 gal.storage tank, auto cut-of valve and outflow carbon and mineralizator. I'm very satisfied. Last month I changed membrane after 4 years. I use lot of RO water couse my total tanks capacity is above 800 litrs. Prefilters are change every six months. My tap water is hard about 550uS, my RO is 14-17uS.
I payed for all about 100$

Lexinverts, I sent you PM. I'm sure you can find something similar on US web sites.
