Hi everyone,
quick question...
would you put one CRS male with lots of tiger females or one tiger male with lots of CRS females to get them to cross?

Hi everyone,

No, I would not - as this cross gives you TigerBees and not pure Tigers.

are red tigers pure tigers?
i have seen some some nice tibee crosses, are there any problems with fertility?

Red tiger shrimp that are commonly sold are not the same as tiger shrimp, they are naturally red and not selectively bred for red color. Though tigerbee shrimp can be created to obtain tiger pattern with the red of a CRS there will be pattern changes in future generations and possible fertility problems. I would suggest purchasing some red tiger shrimp if you want a stable strain of tiger shrimp with red stripes. You can breed them with tigers and there should be none or little pattern changes in future generations.

Zane
Edit: Oh and the F1 will display both red and black stripes in most occurrences.
