    Another picture of her She doesn't look like a young long armed prawn, but she's growing fast, 3.5inches and I've only had her for 2 months.

    Macrobrachium nipponense is what she looks like, soem pictures look as if they could've been her!! But the only get to 5-7 cms..? She's bigger than that..

    I can't say I am an expert far from it but a good friend of mine bought some Amano shrimps and in with it was one that kept growing and growing, ate most of the Amanos as well as some of her tropical fish, he is now in a tank on his own and continues to grow, he is around 5-6 inches. We concluded that it is a long arm shrimp basically a freshwater prawn of some sort, here is the link to my friends one on you tube, not sure the link will work though, if not go to youtube and type in' freshwater shrimp eating snails', or 'freshwater prawn goes nuts for bloodworm' you will see him.
