Wow, very nice project ahead! Is that a small sulawesi shrimp? I heard it's really difficult for sulawesi to be berried?

    Well done.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Yes, this is: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...s/IMG_1535.jpg, baby cardinal shrimps I don't think that they are very difficult to breed. IME, Harlequin shrimps are much more tricky . You need a special setup for each species at one individual tank, because it has different habitat requirements in order to survive and multiply.

for example: cardinal shrimps loves rocks covered ground, with a good amount of algae that grows on the hardscapes.

    Update....

Algae that cover the surface of the wood is drastically reduced because eaten by the sulawesi snails. Therefore, I try to reduce the snail population so that it can maintain the amount of algae for shrimp food supply.

My cardinal shrimps have managed to populate this tank successfully. They stay inside the rock holes and very active looking for food.

I've separated some of the parents for my friends to maintain the Cardinal shrimps populations in my tank.

    Hi avex30,

I need just about 2 - 3 months. I cultured those green spotted algae at my outdoor pond with an indirect sunlight, before I setup this Sulawesi's tank..
