    Hi All,

Must say that Hailea v20 surprised me very much. Small and quiet(not really cheap), unfortunately the bubbles which coming up in 11 tanks are very loud. But as said pump itself is 1st class!. You can buy a model like 9620 which is cheap and You can not expect too much. Different story why they call it super silent. Ive got another pump from the same line like 9620 and its LOUD... so use it as a spare pump.

Same story as usual to get good product You must spend more and not necessary buy a pump made in Germany (no offence)...

So my next pump would be Hailea v20 or bigger version from this line

    Hi Mod imke_j,

I was think about this. Will it be okay if you had placed your "noisy" air pump in a styrofoam box lined with sponges or some other materials to buffer the sound? You will need a couple of holes in the foam box.

    Just a wacky idea.

Thanks for your suggestion, Noobisme. That would be a temporary solution only, as it needs more space
