calender photo contest 2010

Hi everybody,

shrimpnow will host its first community photo contest from Nov 20 – Dec 20 2010! Everybody willing to participate can post his/her pictures in this thread. Please do as usual and upload them to the Gallery and link; if you cannot do linking due to newbie restriction, mods will fix the URLs.

The contest is a new annual event for every member to showcase the best photographs from shrimp, crayfish, crabs, snails, fish and tanks. The 12 pictures with the most votes will be published in a digital computer desktop calendar and made available for download by all members. Votes will be cast by SN members by public poll from Dec 21st - January 1st 2011.

The files must be additionally send to photocontestATshrimpnow.com in the minimum filesize: 1280px width x 768 (up to 960 height) px in resolution 110ppi. Don't forget to write your full name and and country in the email. Please do not label watermarks, names, URL's or frames on your files. By submitting your photos you agree to having your photos published in the desktop calender 2010; however, you will keep all copyrights.

The moderator team is not allowed to participate.

I thought the actual size had to be at least 1280 pixels X 768 pixels..? Unfortunately I have resized most of my pictures will try to look for original files.

We have no restriction; you can even submit 12 pics if you have good ones

If you haven't got the original files any more, we perhaps can also handle 1024px (width) files; but they shouldn't be smaller than that.
