Naoki (直樹) Japanese unisex name meaning honest tree

I gave my CR group that name, to have some kind of positive breeding project motivation. Naming things deepens the relationship

Just a quick update on the Ebi Gold soil I have used for this tank: I looks as it starts to dissolving. I will keep an eye on it and plan to re-set the tank in Sepetmber/October 2011. So, 12 months fro Ebi Gold lasting.

I decided to redo this tank today, and used Lava as substrate this time. It will house some Black Bee. Here is a sneak preview from this afternoon:

Just wondering is 1 yr the limit for this soil?

Depends on what you understand as 'limit'. With my high tap water readings, it has lots water adjusting ability even earlier. Concerning the grain stability, I had the feeling that it started to decompose end of August.
