Im not sure of the exact composition of the rock , but its more of seasoned laterite stone. The subtstrate is a mix of white sand and crushed coral

I know! Their skin color is unique too. But can't get any good ones here in Alberta. The ones I saw in BigAls haven't moved for over 2 weeks (I'm pretty sure since they are always in a cluster at a corner) So if I get any I'm pretty sure they'd die on me. But such a waste cause Alberta water is like 7.8-8.0, perfect for Sulawesi shrimps

The low temperature may be the reason for the low activity of the snails, they are also more hot water than most fish
