    Default My first Tiger shrimp tank

    Hello everyone

    I want to share with yuo all my new aquarium for tiger shrimps

    Setup:
    Aquarium: 55x50x25 (cm) abaut 67 liters
    Substrate: Aqua-art Aqua II+
    Heater: 75w
    Filter: Hang on filter (till i get external filter)
    Lightning: 2x24W t5 (specters: 865 and 840)
    CO2: presured with keramic difuser
    Camera: Panasonic DMC-LX2


    Fauna:
    10x Tiger shrimps (some has blue color)
    7x Neritina

    Flora:
    Utricularia Graminifolia
    Anubias var. nana "petit"
    Pogostemon helferi
    Microsorium pteropus var. narrow leaf
    Cladophora aegrophila
    Fissidens splachnobryoides
    Richardia graffieri

    Hi Darbininkas3

    Very nice hardscapes, tank and shrimps...
    How come the soil is black in the first and third pictures and brown in the other pictures? Is it because of the lighting?

    Hello louuu

    Thanks for coments
    Substrate in first photos is black becaus it is only sprayed with water and not filed up fully and it is dark brown like ADA amazonia II.

    hey nice tank there . What kind of rocks are you using ?
    Any idea whether it will alter your GH or PH?
    If keeping Exotic shrimps are easy then there will not be Exotic prices.

    I don't know name of stones but will try asking seller next time i will be in his shop And as I was testing they are not alter GH or PH

    hI, darbininkas.. Your tiger shrimp tank look simple and deep and the driftwood was unique. Do you cycle your new tank??

    Thanks for comment. Yes i cycled this aquarium for 1 month. In that time i was keeping some fish in it. And was doing some biger water changes in that time to stabilize my substrat.
