    That first picture under (2ed Page)

    "change urThank you, i love study the tiger shrimps, because they are fill up with amazing surprisings and they are more robust than CRS in my water.
    I heard, that tiger-shrimps unfortunatley more rare in Asia.
    But I hope this fact will change very soon ."

    what type of shrimp is that and can you tell me your water parameters for breeding? i think i have those too in my 36 gal tank i got them from a breeder that called them "super wild tiger shrimp bred blue".

    Do you know why “normal” Black Tiger you know (most female and more by lower grades because the black covers white) have whitness, too?
    Please guess.[/QUOTE]

    My Answer is....
    Because of a special glands in female shrimp? Will show the whiteness during the "RIGHT TIME" for mating.

    I really like this name more than the other which is hard to spell for non-Germans. Good job done; keep on!

    @ tinkertoyclub
    There is no best soil or the best PH or GH level for keeping tiger shrimps.
    Tiger shrimps are very tolerant about different water parameters.
    I think you must find out your own way.
    You can try PH between 6,8 and 8,0 and GH till 20.
    Higher Grades like some blackt tiger varieties prefer a lower KH around 3 and other parameters like Bee-shrimps approximately.

    @Fatcows
    That is a heterozygous tiger shrimp, it’s Grandmum of the shrimp below the pic.
    I don’t have a special name for it.

    @minicooper
    Ist a very interesting thouhgt, thank you!
    Even if the female show always this coloration but more if they become older.

    BTW: Now I know the name of the black ones with white emblems on tail and so on, too.
    You should´nt have any doubts () about the variety because there are similar looking shrimps like "KK".

    The name of variety showed in this thread is:

    Tiger “Black Soul”

    @Imke
    Thank you, I will do.
