As I have been discussing with a friend on caridina caerecula and caridina ensifera, and if this shrimp are endemic to certain lakes, I like to point your attention to the scientific paper doing a taxonomy of Sulawesi shrimp (2009):

On page 349 you will find an overview on all the described new species, with radiation area. It will be an interesting question, if the species described as endemic in 2009 have perhaps been spread by humans to other lakes?!?

The following paper says that Caridina ensifera blue (which I assume to be Caridina caerulea) was collected from Lake Matano:

I personally do not believe it inhabits Lake Matano, as the fact they collected 20 gravid females suggests the species is widespread and common in Lake Matano, and I'm sure such a prolific invasive species would not go unnoticed. I believe they are endemic to Lake Poso, and that is is a mistake. This is either a big problem in Sulawesi, or a big mistake in science!
