    Hey knokie,
if I look at your Pic, the first thing which come into my mind is that it could be Riccardia chamaedryfolia.
But your Pic is not sooo well, that I can see some details of this plant.
Compare it to some sites in the inet.

It does not look like Riccardia chamedryfolia to me. Rc does not grow so tightly together.

It also does not have the characteristics of a Fissidens species, which grows upward with small sections of stem between leaves. The moss pictured grows flat and extremely tight and to me, it looks much more like a terrestrial (land) moss that spreads along rocks. Where did you obtain this moss?

A large picture will definitely be needed to identify more accurately.

    Hi knokie,

comparing your moss to other photos and information available on the internet I don't think that it is Fissidens zippelianus.
I am even unsure if it is a Fissidens species.

    For example see:

    I agree with retardo.
It looks more like moss growing on stones or trees.

I bought it from a fish shop, I afraid that I get conned by him

    knokie,

On closer inspection it looks like it may possibly be a Fissidens species, but it definitely is not Riccardia chamedryfolia. It does possess leave structures that resemble a Fissidens. I would wait and see.... Give it a few weeks and then retake the pic.

Here's a link to how Fissidens grows: Fissidens sp.

    Hi,

i think you should wait a bit and then see how it grows. It also might be kind of Fontinalis sp.

Thanks for the input, is there any way to grow the Fissidens? They grow very slow in my tank
