Tiger Trouble
I need help figuring out what the problem is.
I have been keeping tiger shrimp for about 5 or 6 months now. I started out with 2 females and 8 males. After a few weeks the two females were carrying eggs. These guys hatched and are just about breeding size now.
Since this time the two females have carried other clutches but none have hatched. My water parameters are TDS 200-350 ppm, pH 6.8-7.2, temp 76-78 F. I do small water changes once a week and slowly refill the tank, over the course of a few hours.
Recently, the females have carried their eggs for about 24 days... to the point where they should be hatching any day. All seems good and then I notice that one day they slowly start to loose their eggs. At first I thought that they were hatching but days go by and I can't find any babies anywhere.
What is going on?
