Here is a picture of one of my new tiger shrimp. Someone told me he looks sick because of his milky coloring. I hope he will be ok.

hi Gary,
yes it looks a bit pale but as long as they show their normal behavior, I wouldn't worry too much. Shrimp deseases are a difficult topic and there is not that much you can do without knowing which desease it is. Do not stess them and try to give them the best conditions you can.
Tiger shrimps can change their color a bit, that is normal. The normal ones can be bluish grey or a little bit brownish, it seems to depend on their food and other factors. So I would observe it but wouldn't worry too much about this shrimp. Almost death ones are really milky colored but yours does not look like this.

Hi Walter,
tiger shrimps cannot change their color to any color they like. Blue tiger shrimps or black tiger shrimps are a recessive mutation and it's relatively stable. Normal tiger can be slightly bluish but that's it. I never heard of a orange tiger and think that it is not possible to get a intensive orange colored tiger.
