How to Subscribe to threads

I can't figure out exactly how to subscribe to threads. Forgive me, I'm relatively new to the forum scene.

In the upper right hand corner, there should be a Thread Tools dropdown menu (click on down arrow). In the menu, there should be an option "Subscribe to this thread".
