Hello, a question was asked on another forum about higher heat creating more males than female offspring in cherry shrimp.
When I began raising cherry shrimp, I set up two tanks (15 gallon and 20 gallon) and set the temperatures at 79F (~26C) in one, 83F (~28C) in the other. I thought I had an unusual amount of males in the higher temperature tank and turned the temperature down.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of it?
