Need help with this id. I think is some kind of bee but not sure which one. All photos are from same shrimp.

I am by no means the shrimp identification expert Pedro, but it looks like a diamond/bee to me. Looking at the second pic and the white between the eyes/base of rostrum. Is the white on the tip of the tail (same picture) also an identifiable trait?

Should have orange-brown nose and tail according to the sticky. Also, should have white dots on the tail to be a diamond/bee.

NO orange rostrum...I think is a bee variant

But also "...certain strains can lack the orange coloration..."

Sorry I can't be of much help.

I'll see if I can take a better shot...unfortunately some of them have died...
I do not know why, because this tank has been established for sometime now.
I think it might be the PH. I have snowballs in there as well and they are doing great.

Hi Pedro, same opinion as the other thread, a Bumblebee. ;)

And Again, same opinion that this website states: "Bee" in (Hong Kong/Singapore/Taiwan), and "New Bee" in (Japan). You can see your shrimp at the bottom of the page here: http://www.shrimpnow.com/modules.php?name=Content&file=viewarticle&id=1 You'll note it says: "The brown stripe on the abdomen is often V-shaped." Also, like I already stated, Bocher has some in his picture gallery. :)
