hi ^^
this month i think that i will start a new tank
a dennerle nano 60.
2x11W dennerle
i will use akadama soil
only mosses and rocks
for cantonensis ( i dont know wich one )
i need help to choose my filter ^^.
3 of my tanks have air moss filter , and my nano 30have a UGF with 200L/H eheim pump.
im thinking at a bigger air double sponge filter , i also have a canister filter (eccopro 200) and 2 hang filter (eheim liberty and niagara 250).
im looking how to connect my canister filter or hang on filter to my UGF .
with the 2 lamps and the glass plate overthe tank id'ont know if i will have enough space
thanks for yourhelp :)

I would either use the double sponge filter or the UGF/Ecco combination. The pipes come with 12/16mm - there are special adapters from Eheim to bigger pipes. Besides, you can use a sponge foam to make it shrimp safe. Which radius has the pipe from your UGF?

i bought my nano 60 ^^ comparing to my 2 nano 30L they look very small.
there is not enough space for a canister and i don't want to cut the upper glass.
i think i will use 2 double sponge filter both pluged to a eheim air pump 100l/h
do you think my filtration is enough good ?

Hi, look at the pics in my profile I have a 60L Dennerle nano, with 120L sponge (sponge on timer to turn on at night only), and aqua one aquis 750L per hour canister filter, works like a dream except I'm changing the substrate to Akadama like yours. (I removed the corner XL that came with it in photo as it was sucking up my seed shrimps & I rather like them :)

Oh glass lid is just shifted by 1 cm to the front, still sits on llastic clips etc... pipes fit in back fine, if you are happy with lid nit 100% flush

i'm currently running an eheim 2213 classic on my 60, pretty happy with it. Go for that or the 2215.

There are double sponge filters, made by Dolphin, suitable for 300L tanks. So, I guess finding a sponge for a 60L tank should be easy. Don't worry!

thx ,
i have found a bigger filter , because it is more usefull than 2 filters .
i didnt know the brand dolphin.
i mostly buy on ebay ,and its difficult to found big double sponge filters (in my opinion).
now i m looking for the eheim adaptator to plug my eccopro 200 to my old UGF (tetra)
