The size is slightly smaller than red cherry. Some of them like this, others are transparent.

Hi,
I have a few shrimps that look like yours. Are there ones that are very dark with a stripe on the back?
I think mine could be Jonga serrei:

Hi,
without more information about the origin of this shrimp (which country and which region) and probably lots of literature, a microscope and time we can't say for sure which species it is. There are dozens of species only in the genus Caridina and they are spread over most parts of India, South-East and East Asia. Many species show a wide variety of patterns and colors, so these traits don't help you in your case. There are also undescript species which doesn't make a identification easier. This picture alone does not even tell me which genus it is.
regards

I think it looks like Sri Lanka Dwarf Shrimp (Caridina simoni simoni) shown on the petshrimp - shrimpspecies page.
Anyway, I will try to make a new picture with a better camera. Maybe it will help you to recognize the shrimp.

The shape of the body is the same as the Sri Lanka dwarf shrimp but the colour is different. It can not be a Caridina simoni simoni because they are nearly transparent.
Here is a pic of a Caridina simoni simoni:
