The new RCS tank under re-cycling stage. I reset the tank since Cherries were affected with seeded fertilizers on the subs.

Filration now is HOB and UGF (air). Susbtrates are black pebbles and about 10 kgs of local black sand. Hybrid coz I will add GEX on top of the black sand.

Removed all the shrimps in this tank to do a complete reset. Also, removed the Moss covered DWs, anubias petit, flame moss and fissidens fontanus. DIY UGF was placed in the substrates. I used pond water from my local shrimp pond to again jump start the filtration. When UGF was started the water became slightly cloudy then I let it run overnight. The next day, water was crystal clear again but what was surprising to know, there were tiny little shrimplets swimming around the tank. Maybe they were 20-30 little shrimplets. I don't know where they came from but I think maybe they were the babies of Momma RCS clinging on the Moss Tree. When I returned them there they swam freely in the open waters of the tank.
It was really lovely sight to see. I just hope that this tank is now perfect for them to grow bigger.

Cool tank dude! I like the Fissiden, I wish that they sell more here in Montreal Pet Shop.
Will you add any carpet plants?

Thanks Everyone!

It's a drop checker used to monitor CO2 level and pH.

I've never heard of that. I'll have to look that up. Just did it. That's a cool tool!
