Very curious shrimp, I've nerver seen a rostrum like that. I'm very excited about the crab... even smaller than L. nayanetri??? Is it related?

Yeah! you rock! :guitarist

Would love to be able to do what you do in finding shrimp.

Also the new Crab, is it any relation to the New Micro Crabs I have seen cropping up on Ebay, Called Amber Micro Crabs ??

yes,in the past i always signed with keep on rocking..when i was on tour with my band..i transformed it a little bit ;-)))

In october Thomas von Rintelen, Kristina von Rintelen and me we will spend 2 weeks on Poso and i am sure we will find more new species. It is so exiting when you find new stuff ....i think that Stefan Hummel filmed the moment of the discovery of the red and white shrimp..

Very cool. I dream of going to those places. Do you know what the scientific names of the new species will be?

Isnt that a ninja shrimp?

chris lukhaup
30th Jun 2011, 06:10 AM
yes,i already have a name....;-)...

@hibi..thats not a ninja shrimp..the eggs in C.serratirostris are smaller and many more. Also different coloration of the eggs. Besides that the shape of the rostrum is different and also the body shape.

Very nice! I wonder if it's white spotted lateral pattern was common. I mean... have you found other strains "like" :P this one? It's hard to say if it's C.loehae or not... anything is possible with shrimps lol

Congratulations on your new find and a berried one too!
I see tiny crystal ring-like markings on the shrimp shell. May I know what are they?
