Hi Everyone

I had some extra stuff at home, and realized that it was enough to start a new set up.
It was time to do a low-tech and try to maintain something different than the red cherry (already have red cherry)

Setup:

:tiny: Name: .:.: Shrimps In The Mesozoic Era :.:.

:tiny: Aquarium: 60*35*40 (only using about 50 liters)

:tiny: Light: 2 x 11W

:tiny: Filter: Fluval 2 plus (with a lady sock)

:tiny: Heater: Probably it won't need one

:tiny: Substrate: Black sand

:tiny: Hardscape: Wood (Mangroove i suppose) Rock (Moonstone (comercial name))

:tiny: Fertilização: Really tiny doses of elos fase 1, fase 2 & k40 and Seachem fourish excel

:tiny: CO2: No

:tiny: Flora : Anubias barteri var. nana, Anubias barteri ''coffeefolia'', Anubias hastifolia, Vesicularia dubyana, Vesicularia ferriei 'Weeping', Microsorum pteropus " Narrow", Bolbitis heudelotti, Bulb similar to Nymphaea lotus (zenkeri)

:tiny: Fauna:Caridina cantonensis sp. "Red"

After this day I lost 3 crs, those that were smaller :(
but in a couple of weeks i should receive at least 10 :)

Glad you like it. I'm really enjoying it, I hope I can keep it this calm for a long, it is nice not having to clean the glass :p these creatures fascinate me more every day.

Here is one of them eating Hikari shrimp cuisine. They love this food

It's nice to know that you are enjoying the aquarium.

great pics. i really like this set up. uv inspired me to setup a 2nd tank. already bought the wood that it will be centred around.

can u also post a shot of the full tank during feeding time?
how many shrimps do u have approx?
also, which cam u using?
