Yes. I use 99% Boneo Wild Plant Soil and 1% Gex Soil.

Not really. It's rather easy as long the tank is bright and the shrimps are close to the front of the glass and staying still for me.:)

Thanks. I'm using a basic lens 18-55mm reversed for all these shoot. Aperture must be preset before turning the lens over. Basically I just use the tank lights. Sometime I use the camera's build in flash.

I'd say they are pretty much the same.

when i take my shots, i use macro function, but my photos turn out a little too dark even with a flash =\ I suppose I should try adding more light heh.

Any more tips on the functions you use?

Sorry no FTS currently. Those are christmas moss tied on mesh and mesh is resting on ceremic rings. But I use bacteria house as support.

Very cool ,i actually went through your older posts to see an earlier tank shot and it was visible how you did it :)

One more question if its ok ...i notice in your shots your pretty much algae free but you seem to have alot of light ,do you use co2 ? and what your photo period in hours ?

No dosing of CO2 in there. Lights are on 10-12 hours daily. Algae doesn't grow much at all in my tanks.

Hi, I let them breed naturally among themselves. But every now and then I will intro new blood line from other source.:)
