Eco Complete for Tigers?

Just wondering if anyone has used eco complete as substrate for tigers?

It says it is neutral and with a sponge filter i am guessing i could keep the ph at a minimum of 7. I have read on the forum people having trouble using eco complete with CRS etc, just wondered about tigers?

it should be okay as long as water parm is good for them.
