Wow! Seriously nice shrimp! I also hope you get some more like that in the next generation. He looks to have some kind of iridescence on his back too, or is that just the light?
novina

Monika, on Your photo are also "she"
How You get this? You mixed orange eyes with black eyes or something else?

Grzegorz, it was sure a male. It was an offspring from a few black tigers I got in 2008 from Hamburg.
Since than all the time OE and black eyes swim together.
He is the ancestor of all black tigers I have now.
This light blue eyes appears only twice time again with lower manifestation, but i still waiting for things will come.
And you, how you get it?

Good job novina, simply awesome. Saw them on facebook the other day. I don't think it is a specific mutation because the odds of you two having the same mutations would be astronomical. Maybe your shrimp have the same relatives? If not then maybe its a perfect match of genetics which would make it extremely hard to continue the color strain.
When i saw it - i thought "what the f*** is this?" :) And i falt in love because this shrimp is very beautifull :)
And hahaha that's what I'd be thinking too lol

Congrats Novina!! I hope you'll be able to fix this pattern soon. It was just with black tiger or there were some blue tiger around? Black tiger (in general) were selected from blue ones, weren't they? may it be considered a kind of "grade" into blue to black tiger "selective breeding"?
Nice male Morgana, what a pitty you can breed them together
