I been counting down for three weeks, the eggs in the mother has turn from dark brown to white in colour.
Is this the normal changing of colour of the eggs?
Really anxious to see the baby shrimplet.

Its normal if the colour turns to a much lighter tone. It means they are going to be "launched" soon. :)

If it turns opague white it is usually not a good sign. If your crs is a very young mother (around 2cm) she sometimes may not know how to handle the eggs well so don't be discouraged. When she grows up more it will all work out. :)

It is opaque white in colour, hope all goes well and she is big in size about 2cm already.

Agree with Nanodave on that, it could happen and/or when you transfer her from one enviroment to another, the chance of getting bad eggs is high.

You should see 2 black dots (eyes) in translucent eggs when they are near hatching.

If you can spot 3, you will spot many more when they grow up to a more visible size. :)

Don't be discouraged about the crs with only 4 eggs.. one thing I experienced is that premature shrimps that rush to get pregnant have a high chance of dropping eggs (maybe swimrettes too small when the eggs increase in size plus they are more easily spooked by 'aggressive' crs that likes to jump on them). The good thing is they will definately become more skilful juggling them when they grow bigger. :)

Yamatos will not eat your baby shrimp, unless it's already dead or near death. Getting sucked in by an internal filter is possible. Do you have a sponge prefilter attached?

They have eggs, they are carrying it till they hatch to little shrimps or larvae
