RO water.

Hi,

Do RO water suitable for planted tank?
I'm using RO water mix with mineral plus for my crs tank and everything is fine except the HC Cuba...
I don't use co2 for my tank...
Last time I used to use tap water for my crs and my crs keep dying but my HC Cuba growth well...
But after I changed it to RO water then my HC Cuba start dying...
I did use fertilizer for my tank everyday.

I changed ADA brighty k and step 1 to BW coz I found out that when I use ADA fertilizer my crs will die every time but after I changed to BW than my crs seems ok...

Hi, i had the same problem as you with full ada fert which I duno why.. I change my tap regime to 3stage filter WC from tap. I will try change to BW to try out your experience. Thanks.

I did ask the BW sales person and they say most of their BW product are shrimp safe.
Just remember don't overdose the BW Growth coz it might hurt our shrimp...

hi cllui, I've killed five of my panda shrimps and several higher grade CRS. Think they are more sensitive to to fertilizers. What is your dosing regime in your crs planted?

I'm using BW fertilizer now for my 2ft 60liter crs tank...
I put 2 pump of BW Essence-K and 1 pump of Growth everyday...
