Hi rully_lukita,

Very nice shrimps. I see why its called Zombie Shrimps looks a little scary to me. But i like the second picture where the shrimp has a yellow(gold  ) tint to it.

How long have you been keeping them in your tank? Have you manage to breed them? I am curious whether are they low order or high order shrimps. Tell us more :D .

Nice ! selectively breed the white and gold colour , and market them as the arowana of the shrimpy world. they might just become more popular than CRS .. haha... U already have one potential customer here!
that is if they don't cost a silly $3000 each :D ...

The opaque coloration is suspicious to me. They look like dying specimens.

They just look like my shrimp which going to die soon because of the body in such kind of white. Anyway, it is a very beautiful shrimp.

So anyone orgazine a trip to Indonesia? Rully, which part of Indonesia are you from?? Can we pay you a visit and that river a visit? :joking:

seem like Glass shrimp to me:

Here we see the inherent problem of common names - 'glass shrimp' refers to Macrobrachium lanchesteri in SE Asia and much of Europe, FW Palaemonetes spp. in North America, various Macrobrachium and (truly brackish) Palaemon in the UK, and, often, certain transparent Caridina or Neocaridina spp. in Germany and the Czech Republic.

nice shrimps but they look abit cooked, like dead ones, no wonder they are called zombie shrimps. Gives me the shivers when I first saw them.

Can you tell us more about this shrimp? say the behaviour and water conditions. Just wondering how come there are so many colours

Those are real wild caught shrimps and I had seen them alive in his tanks. Unfortunately I had some from him and did not last long in my tanks due to bad keeper :(

Very interesting species!
