hi all i did use the search but nothing came up. I keep alot of dart frogs and have alot of sterile dry oak leaves, i did read that oak leafs are really good in a tank as they do not decompose for long time. I know they las ages in a terruim but wondering if they are safe for cherry shtimp and they a good for them?

Yes, oak leaves are good for shrimp tanks and shrimp safe so long as they aren't collected from a place where they could have chemicals on them. They last 1-2 months in my shrimp tanks, and I usually let the shrimp pick them apart before I scoop out the pieces and put fresh ones in.

Does oak leaves affect the PH like almond leaves? I've noticed that the PH decreases a little bit every time I add a leaf into my 10 or 20 gallon tank.

Yes they work similar so they should lower your PH a little...
