Friends,
Was planning to convert my study room to study cum Aquarium room. It was a long pending task but finally got approval from the home ministry department (my mother and wife) :) :) :)

The room size is 10X11 and I guess it’s the best place for my aquarium and none of the walls are directly exposed to sun light.

Attached are the plan pictures….Will keep you guys updated…

Looks good, do keep us posted. Also instead of doing big tanks you can do shrimp racks with more tanks instead. I find that more tanks is better on this hobby so you will always have more room for selective breeding and if you don't want to mix or interbreed.

Thanks MananaP.
Actually The 5ft rack is there with me from last 1 year and Tank-1,2 and 6 too...
This weekend I would be getting my 4feet rack and then have to make 6 more tank (Tank-3 to 5 and 7 to 9).

Good to see plans and good luck with the project Prashanta...also good to see that India has ' home ministry departments' and regulations galore.

Just like the UK........!! My planning submission usually goes through by bribing that department with a holiday ...LOL

Woah. How much lighting do you have on that leftmost tank? It looks brighter than the window.

Christ Count....you may be good at shrimping but your shrimp / study looks like it's been burgled...LOL.

My wife would take one look at this room and place a nuclear fall-out sign on the door......You made my day !!!

Wow! That's more than I have on my 50 gallon corner tank. It has 69 watts of 6500K CFL lighting.

Count, if you tidy up a bit and get it more organised, your wife would be pleased with you. It is not just about shrimp keeping, but house keeping as well:D:D. May be you could have even more tanks.
