It is called moonlight, mine turns on at the same time as my white led lights. They are located at the center of the fixture i think 3-4 led moonlights in a row and about 6-8 white lights. They are turned on at same time and also i can turn on the moonlight by itself.

plants use blue light as well so it wont have a detrimental affect on anything at first youll notice that alga might grow but the plants will quickly adapt to the new light by depositing more carotenoids in their leaves to absorb the blue light and will again out compete the algas.
i actually light using actinics over planted tanks makes the plants have better color.

Hi Clui...can you PM me the link for the 45cm LED as I might be interested in a procurement.
Blue moonlights are not a problem within the planted / shrimp tank setup..

That is true, i customized my 48" 4x 55w coralife fixture. Drilled holes and put LED moonlights on the sides.
