Hi... I am preparing this shrimp tank. 2ft perhaps for CRS? Still deciding.
Weeping moss mostly on the driftwood. Singapore moss on the land tied to little clay tiles.
The left rocks are tied with erect moss but they didn't miss it. I still leave it there because I was hoping it will still grow and I notice some green but don't know if it is growing or not.
Regretted on the gravel as I thik dark gravel should be nice in this tank. Anyway, please comment.

Nice shrimp tank! I like how the shimps have plenty of spaces to climp on instead of all crowding at the bottom. :)

Hmm.... what do you mean ?
Mind telling us how long this tank has been set up ?
Light ? CO2 ? Filter ?
There's no fertilizer in the substrate right ?
not too late to change to the dark gravel u like ! :D although it could be quite troublesome.... :undecided

Oops... I mean that the erect moss did not survived and turned brown. I will be taking away all the rocks when the tank matures.

Light: PL36WX2
CO2: 30 ppm
Filter: Eheim Ecco. Can't remember the model.

That is the CO2 tube to a disfusser.

Ya... a bit empty ...
Problem is that it is a little dark underneath. This layout cast a lot of shadows underneath.

Heh heh... gonna be like little monkeys... ;)
I tried to catch 2 yamatos in there yesterday as I am trying to empty the tank. There are 2 more SAE and 1 Characidium fasciatumin there to catch. Manage to catch the yamato after a long time. Aaaargh...
Good thing is that there are 3 pieces of wood that can remove easily here. This is of course when it is still empty. ;-)

Light: PL36WX2
Wouldn't that be too much for these slow growing mosses ?
Any signs of algae ?
*touch wood* :D

Ya... no algae yet. There are 2 SAE and a Characidium fasciatumin in there. Planning to take it out though...
What do you recommend for light level? (Me newbie in low maintenance method)

The gravel looks fine. ;)
Hope the plants grow and spread around well and you will have a great tank for shrimps! :D

I think I better not touch the gravel. Shrimps are in already. Quite interesting looking at them hang out on the wood. Like little monkeys on a big tree. ;-)
Ya, waiting for the moss to spread. They are real slooow... :(
