Lovely snap :) Your cardinal looks very healthy. How long has it been in that tank?

I think this is an F4 or F5 batch that live with his grandparents in my tank since mid last year in 2009

Yup.. it's a cardinal, or caridina dennerli, as I have been training myself to say. Try not to get killed anytime soon.

Here's another snapshot of a caridina dennerli. Practising my photography. But these are tough subjects.
Can see the blue nuances on those white dots better, and the colour are showing better.

Thanks. These are one of my favorite shrimps! The others are too shy to come out for their photo taking.

I enjoy my Cardinals also, I just wish they were active like my Orange Eye Blue Tigers.

Hey have you successfully achieved F4,F5 and beyond? If so, then they should be for sale so people like me (noobs) are able to keep em alive in less technical params :)

Cardinals are by far one of my favorite shrimp.

You're right about being a tough one to photograph.

I've been trying to get one of my berried females on camera but they are just too paranoid a shrimp.

They are active though. When I sit in front of the tank after awhile they all come out to play.
