My aeglids arrived this morning. I had ordered 5 and 5 arrived alive. Sadly one was damaged and it's tail shell was detached from the body shell. It died a few hours after arriving.

The other 4 are eating and have explored the tank. They seem to have a favourite hiding place each and enjoy sitting on top of each other. At one point they were stacked 3 high, all eating peacefully.

Here's a few rough pictures. Apologies for the blur and poor colour.

The tank they are in. It's my dwarf puffers tank and also has 2 african filter feeding shrimp, 1 bamboo shrimp and some oto catfish. I might needto remove some plants and add some more cave structures. The stones are siliconed together so they can't fall and crush the tiny aeglids.

The one with biggest claws. The others follow this one and will try to climb into whatever cave it is in.

A little one climbing on a stone. this one is most adventourous and has inspected the whole tank.

The big claw again. He's sitting next to heater because I moved his cave and scared him. They swim backwards and can move fast.

Sorry, Dave,I forgot to reply. I do that a lot. :embarasse

So far I have no good pictures of them. They are very secretive and hide most of the day. I will keep trying and post them when I have them. Eventually I'll put the photos and English-language information online as there's not much available.
